At Pine Lake Family Dentistry, we treat sleep apnea using an OAT, oral appliance therapy, similar to a retainer that pushes the jaw forward, thereby opening the airway and allowing a smooth flow of oxygen.

Dr. Chen is a great dentist with the loveliest manner. She's extremely compassionate and helps you understand what is wrong and how she'll fix it with minimal pain and a quick recovery. She doesn't push for whitenings, but definitely for night mouthguards--though, I do think she has good intentions when offering them. My 8 yr old even loves going to the dentist. Her staff is equally lovely and it's a genuinely nice experience.
